What is Microblading?

Microblading is a form of permanent makeup that provides thin or missing eyebrow hair the appearance of real hair using small deposits of pigment into the epidermis. This method is ideal for anyone wanting to enhance the look of their eyebrows. The results show natural looking hair strokes even if there is not hair present. They will be full & flawless and perfectly shaped around each clients facial features.

Will Microblading Work Well For Me?

Microblading is ideal for people with little to no brow hair, are constantly filling in their brows, or unhappy with the general shape and density of their brows. There are a few factors that may prevent you from being eligible to having the procedure done. If you are pregnant or breast feeding it is not recommended to be microbladed on. Excessively oily skin, tendency to keloid scar, certain medical conditions, and diabetes may compromise your ability to have the procedure done. Please check with me first regarding any questions towards your eligibility to be microbladed on.

How Do I Prepare For My Microblading Appointment?

Please refrain from alcohol 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. Do not wax, tweeze, or thread the area 48 hours before your appointment. Botox, fillers, and chemical peels must be performed 4 weeks prior to your scheduled appointment.

What Can I Expect My Brows To Look Like Immediately After?

Your brows may be a little red & swollen from the topical anesthetic but once the numbing goes away, this will go away. The next morning your brows may appear darker and thicker. This is your body healing and it will not stay like this! The color significantly lightens 30-50%.

How Long Does Microblading Last?

The results can last anywhere from 11 to 18 months depending on skin type and properly following all after care instructions. A perfecting session will be scheduled 6-8 weeks after the first appointment and a touch up 6 months to a year after first session is recommended to retain shape & saturation of pigment.

Why Do I Need To Have Two Visits?

A perfecting session is necessary to add any adjustments in shape, color, and hair strokes. Based on skin type, oil production, and proper after care, some hair strokes will need to be reinforced 6-8 weeks after your appointment. Microblading is a two step process and it is important to see how your body heals your brows so I can adjust & perfect them if needed.

Does it Hurt?

Most clients report little or no pain! Two topical anesthetics are applied to the eyebrow area which leaves most clients numb.

How Will My Brows Look  in The Long Run?

Your microbladed eyebrows will eventually look softer and have more of a powder look as the pigment fades. This is part of the natural healing process. A color boost is recommended every year to 2 years to keep the brows looking good. Please note that results vary with each client.

What is The After Care?

After care is absolutely essential to the appearance and longevity of your eyebrows. Please do not let any soap, water, oils, or makeup touch your brows during the first 10 days after your procedure. Please avoid sweating, excessive sun exposure (tanning), laser treatments & swimming 14 days post-microblading procedure.
